Nu kommer kort från kalaset.

He's home!

Hi all! I talked to Martin today and Gunnar is home...finally! It seems as though he is doing well, just getting around a little slowly! I think the hospital experience was a little boring for him, so I am sure he is glad to be home and around family. (and a t.v.!) Gunnar actually called me this week from the hospital...what a surprise! I was glad to hear from him and I wish I could have went along for this trip, but I will be there is February.
I just got back from a photographer's conference in Chatanooga, Tennessee. I met a lot of talented photographers and learned a little too! I also got to stay with Daniel (my brother) the weekend before and watch an American football (the real football!) game. Oh and by the way, WAY TO GO ELFSBORG! How exciting. Martin called me from the square after the game and it sounded as though there was a lot of fun going on! What a great birthday present for you, Rebecka! Happy Birthday! (a little bit late)

Until next time... and it will be Swedish again as soon as Martin gets back. I will absolutely NOT write in Swedish without him looking over it first...I can hardly believe I speak it, it is so broken!

Update

Hi everyone! Martin is not here to proof-read my Swedish, so you get to practice your English!

Just wanted to give everyone the update on Gunnar. According to the surgeons, the surgery was successful. I don't believe any family has been able to talk to him yet, but we will hopefully know more tomorrow. Martin left yesterday and after a very long journey arrived in Borgstena. He was tired, but glad to be back. He will be in town until the 12th, so definately give him a call! We are both so glad it worked out for him to make it back home. God definately blessed us to see that it worked out!

Please keep praying. Gunnar will have a lot of recovery to go through. He will be out of work for several months. Please pray that the recovery process will go quickly. Also pray for a safe round-trip for Martin. And you can pray that I won't get too lonely here all by myself! (Martin may want you to pray that there won't be a cat moved in by the time he gets back! ;)

Until next time...
